Financial Impact

CON funding will be moved from fiscal year 2021/22 to fiscal year 2022/23.

Approval and authorization for the Executive Director to reprogram the federalized State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ), and Demonstration (DEMO) funding, from CON in fiscal year 2021/22 to fiscal year 2022/23.

Tehama County proposes to delay CON from the 2021/22 fiscal year to the 2022/23 fiscal year. Delaying CON programming will align the construction with the current E&P/PS&E schedule, as well as Caltrans' State Highway Operation and Protection Program (SHOPP) fund programming for shared contribution to CON. Cost increases are currently anticipated to be minimal and may be addressed with the balance of other fund programming. Senior Civil Engineer Jessica Pecha is presenting this item and will be available for questions.
