Financial Impact

This grant agreement provides $13,695.00 in funding for off-road projects eligible in accordance with the Moyer Program Guidelines. In addition, the District is recieving $1,951 in administration. No match funding is required. Anticipation of the funding were budgeted in the 2018-19 District Budget.

a)              AGREEMENT - Request confirmation for the Air Pollution Control Officer to accept and sign the Carl Moyer State Reserve Year 20 Grant Award Agreement for FY 2017-18 (Year 20) funding in the amount of $13,695 in project funds, $1,951 in administration funds for a total grant award amount not to exceed $15,610

BACKGROUND INFO

The Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (Moyer Program) provides monetary grants for the incremental cost of cleaner than required technology. While the California Air Resources Board (CARB) is responsible for developing the Moyer Program Guidelines, the participating California air pollution control districts and air quality management districts (air districts) are in charge of administering the program.

 

For Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-2018, the state reserve funds have been allocated towards off-road projects and associated administration under the Moyer Program.
