REQUESTED ACTION (S)

a)              Declare the following transit vehicle as county surplus property:

1)   Public Works/Transportation; 2014 Glaval Cutaway Bus TRAX Stock T967,

     County Stock #935 VIN #1FDFE4FSXEDA60469, Invoice #28380

 

b)              Request authorization to accept the insurance settlement in the amount of $53,560.80 for the totaled 2014 Glaval bus

BACKGROUND INFO

The bus was involved in a collision in June 2017 and declared totaled after the insurance assessment of the damaged vehicle.  The vehicle, being a 2014 unit, will be retained by the county for parts, as we have similar units currently in service.  The settlement payment will be deposited in the TRAX account.
