REQUESTED ACTION (S)
a) Request that the Board review and continue the local emergency previously ratified by the Board of Supervisors on February 28, 2017 due to the winter storms that commenced during the third week in February 2017, pursuant to Government Code section 8630, subdivision (c)
On February 28, 2017, the Board ratified the proclamation of local emergency made by the Sheriff/Director of Emergency Services. Efforts continue to assess damage and perform recovery activities. It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors continue the local emergency for an additional 30 days as recovery efforts are ongoing.
