Financial Impact

Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) allows for increased revenue to the Tehama County Health Services Drug/Alcohol Division to help defray the costs of providing services to an expanded Medi-Cal population.

REQUESTED ACTION (S)

a)              AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Executive Director to sign the application with the California Department of Health Care Services for Drug Medi-Cal Certification extension at the Red Bluff service location which is set to expire on 4/30/17

BACKGROUND INFO

On March 25, 2014 the Board approved RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -37 to submit application for certification. Certification was awarded, but expires on April 30, 2017. We must apply for an extension and submit payment prior to April 30, 2017 to be eligible to continue to draw down Federal Financial Participation (FFP) for Drug and Alcohol treatment services to the Medi-Cal population.
