This is a receivable agreement for TCHSA that will provide nominal revenue to the Public Health Division. The fees charged to Contractor includes the cost of the vaccines and/or Tuberculin testing supplies, plus an administration fee per injection.
REQUESTED ACTION (S)
a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Executive Director to sign the agreement with Owen's Healthcare for the provision of providing Hepatitis B vaccinations, Measles Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccinations, Varicella vaccinations, and Tuberculin Skin Testing to certain employees of contractor determined to be at risk for exposure, for the cost of the vaccine plus an administration fee per injection, effective 4/1/17 and shall terminate 3/31/19

For many years now the Tehama County Health Services Agency, Public Health Division, has been providing this communicable disease prevention service to community partners, local schools and County Departments. If this request is not granted, certain staff of this contractor could be at a greater risk of contracting and spreading Hepatitis B, Varicella, Measles Mumps and Rubella, and/or Tuberculosis. Request approval to assist these organizations in complying with CalOSHA standards and in preventing the spread of communicable diseases.
