REQUESTED ACTION (S)
a) AGREEMENT - Approval and authorization for the Executive Director to sign the amendment to the agreement with His Ideas, Inc., a California corporation dba Children Foster Family Agency (Misc. Agree. #2016-114) for the provision of providing mental health services, thereby increasing the total compensation during the fiscal year 2016-17 from $425,000 to $550,000 and leaving the remaining total compensation during the FY 2017-18 and FY 2018-19 at $425,000 per FY
(Miscellaneous Agreement #2017-65)
This is an amendment to the original agreement with the vendor. The department has had an increasing demand for community mental health services due to the needs of the current caseload of clients. If this amendment is not approved, the department would not be able to continue services at the necessary level which could cause an undue delay of services to existing clients.
