BACKGROUND INFO

Please see the attached Economic and Workforce PowerPoint presentation recently presented at the Corning Economic Development Action Committee.  The stakeholders in attendance included: 3Core, City of Corning, Rolling Hills Casino, Corning High School, Dignity Health, Paratransit Services, Economic Development, Business & Marketing Independent Consultant Amanda Jenkins and TCTC staff.

 

At the above-mentioned meeting the following strategic planning focuses for the region were stated:

·              Education

·              Transportation

·              Workforce

 

Ms. Jimenez will update the Commission on Shasta College's approach to economic development and workforce programs.
